Quick answers about personal modes, tags and permissions.
FAQ
Common questions.
What is R·Time?
A physical NFC tag and a mobile app that blocks the apps you select. Four personal modes help you protect your time.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes. Personal blocking is implemented in the iPhone and Android test versions. Public App Store and Google Play releases are still pending.
Does the tag need charging?
No. It uses passive NFC and has no battery.
What happens with a new tag?
R·Time configures a compatible blank tag on first use. A regular session must finish with the same physical tag that started it.
Is Hard Mode different?
Choose a duration or an end time. Starts without a tag and finishes automatically at the deadline. No early finish, even with the tag.
How do scheduled blocks work?
Choose apps, weekdays and a start time. Blocking starts automatically; scan a tag to finish.
How does the daily limit work?
Set a shared daily budget for your selected apps and choose the weekdays. Usage resets at midnight. Once the budget runs out, scan a tag to add 5, 10 or 20 minutes.
Can I combine the modes?
Yes. Adding minutes to a daily limit does not remove a scheduled block or another active restriction. Each rule keeps its own conditions.
Can I use R·Time while a block is active?
Yes. You can enter the app without lifting your blocks. The active-block indicator takes you back to manage them.
What if I lose the tag?
A normal session needs its original tag to finish. A different tag cannot replace it for that active session.
Is it available to buy?
There is no public checkout or official store release yet. Join the list to request launch updates; there is no payment, reservation or promised launch date.
